Good job! I'd leave the brake off though...

* I might have positioned the red-dot a tad further ahead too, for better rear-buis use.
And for picture purposes, a collapsed (shortest) stock looks best...

Nice but yep , i'm wondering how much coin you have into it also and in addition to the parts list could you give us the parts suppliers you used . Nice .
 
Thanks J0HN_R1 I will try repositioning the red dot tonight.

Major Sights, the SR-22 comes like you see it in the centre of the last picture. All the accessories around it had to be purchased separately. The magazine was made from a Magpul magazine. There is a tutorial on the forums somewhere.

Thanks JT. it cost an evening of messing around with the camera. I've never "shot" a gun before.

atr, I'm not sure what the total cost is. I haven't added up all the receipts on purpose. :D

nice looking gun, but likely over $1000 with all the aftermarket parts. costly 22
 
That's a fantastic looking Ruger. Don't beat yourself up about the cost either, if you enjoy it - can you not say it's worth every penny?
 
Awesome, I love the SR22 mine however is still stock I do want the dlask kit for it though. Love the look of the magpul mag mod. Do you think you could do the mod with the 25 round buttler creek magazine instead of the standard rotary mag?

Yes this was not cheap to put together. Thats whats so dangerous about the PAL 28 day waiting period. You can't buy a gun, but you're still itching to buy something. I may have gotten a little carried away, but I sure as hell enjoy shooting it. So yeah, worth every penny.

I just replaced the Bushnell with a Vortex Sparc. May update pics later...

The Butler Creek and Tactical Innovations mags are much too too fat to mod into a standard AR15 style magazine. I usually use the Tactical Innovations TI25 mags when I shoot. The stock 10 round magazine mod is just for looks. I really hate the banana style of the TI and Butler Creeks. The first company to make a 25 round mag that actually looks like an AR mag, or at least non banana, will make a lot of money!
