Is it possible? What is the minimum OD needed to have a shot gun

The Chinese barrels can be done, provided that the barrel in question has the bore concentric to the outside of the barrel. That has been an issue in the past for an occasional barrel,they are thinner than you would really want though.

Talk to your gunsmith about thin wall choke tubes, standard choke tubes will be a big mistake, not enough meat for standard size
