Well, I admit it. My wife won't let me go hunting. Guess what's hanging above the fireplace instead of a trophy. :cry:
 
it happens to every man, eventually, we get P whipped :(
dont worry, i havent been able to make a hunt in 3 years this year :( I work all the time :cry:

I take my trophy down from the mantle every second year during moose season...
 
get rid of her now, you'll never get to go hunting anymore if she gets her way. Time to cut the apron strings and send her on her merry way.

No. she's great and she is actively caving as I write this. She has no problem with shooting, small game hunting or fishing. but she feels that deer look like our golden retriever. :lol:

More importantly, why is it HER decision? It should be up to her to decide if she will still be there when you get back, not if you go in the first place.

Remind her, you're not going out after bambi. You're going after bambi's abusive alchololic absentee father who hasn't supported his kids in years and is off fooling around with another doe even as we speak.
 
....um I got a doe tag. Anyway she did indeed cave and following lengthy discussion (and her viewing of this thread). She retracted her earlier statement that she would be "sickened by the thought" of me shooting a deer, and expressed that she supports me in doing what makes me happy. Espescially in light of ecological factors, that will put my marksmanship skills to work for increasing the quality of life of many other deer. So, since no one knows my real name, I am no further behind than I was before I posted this thread! Thank you Gunnutz!

I thought it was pretty wierd myself and eagerly took advantage of the situation :wink: ,Anyone else who has trouble getting out to do what they enjoy
should maybe grow a 'set' :lol:
