These new Marstar PPS 50's

These Piettas are nicely made, well finished little rifles - at least the earlier ones were, and I see no reason to expect that this would have changed.

Picked up one of these earlier ones just this week (too good of a price to pass up), and, without having fired it yet, so far it seems to be a solid, well put together little gun. Only got a 30 round stick mag with it, but as soon as Marstar gets drums in, I'll be grabbing one of them too.

Oh, and having handled some of the Phillipino made Ruko guns - this is nothing like them. It's steel and wood, not plastic, pot metal, and woodish material. :D

For all those interested in the PPS-50, here are a few non-"glossy magazine type" photos of it.

And a side by side shot with a 20" barreled Marlin 1894 to give a sense of scale

I purchased one from Kodiak as a x-mas present for my son.
He has shot it a few times now and has gone through a brick of ammo with very few FTE's, FTF's(mostly ammo related). The rifle and 50rnd drum mag is well built but the plastic stock is too "plasticy"(?).
If a wood stock becomes available I'll be picking it up and swapping it out.

Yeah, we imported a number of them a couple months ago. All sold out long ago. They are a nice little rifle.

Before you ask, we are not planning in importing any more.
