Vasily Zaytsev would be proud. Took my 1942 Mosin Sniper out for the deer hunt and took a single beautiful shot from 130ish yards which obliterated the lungs and took out a chunk of spine. She dropped right where she stood. Dream of dropping a deer with WWII era rifle completed!

When I used my mossin to bag a buck all I got was 40 pounds of meat. The rest was jelly or bone fragmented meat. What round did ya use?

While I don't hunt, I like to thank hunters who help control the deer population. The ignorant masses have no idea just how dangerous and destructive an out of control deer population is...
