they wont let me go hunting

i'd suggst changing it to caribo hunt crissis father and son can't hunt togeather who will help them. more damatic and it will catch attention

i agree 5500 to come watch is a rip of and it might be cause they have poor track record or have low bookings that they would let him come

to me this is an OUTRAGE to not let a fauther teach his son the values of the hunt

just remember them in the future when someone wants you to refer them to an outfitter.hope you are able to get something done about this

Up here I guess visitors or residents here less then a year need to have a guide, but I can't see any guides up here minding having a kid along, hunting is passed on at a very early age up here.
After a year I can get 5 caribou, I believe, and best of all, caribou season is Aug 15 to April 15th.
This year is going to be my first time out hunting, ever, and I really hope you two get to go out together.
If you are interested in coming up here PM me and I will track down some info for you.

That really sucks that you guys are having trouble finding a hunt.
I do however see why they may have the age requirement. There are an abundance of kids out there who are not so well behaved. If you are paying $5000 or whatever you don't want your hunt spoiled by bratty kids. From what I can tell that is not the case here. James seems to be a good kid and I'm sure he would be a great little hunting buddy. Its just another case of a handfull of people ruining it for the rest.

Hope you guys find the hunt you are looking for

That really sucks!

Why not just do a father-son hunting trip with just the two of you? Why pay all that money for an outfitter when you live right there in hunting prime?
Just my .02

Regardless, I hope you can take the kid out with you next season!
Good luck!
