Its USD I ordered 6 extra mags with mine and it came out to just a little over 2000 CAD Going to be worth it. Plus I am still waiting on my restricted version to come from wolverine. Should be an exciting couple of months gun wise
 
How easy is it to install the factory barrel at a later date? I searched up some videos and it looks like you need to actually mill a pocket in the trunion for the extractor (though that was for some custom 5 inch barrels).
 
I'm still a little confused with all this.... so if I wanted to order a non restricted with the fake can it will look like the one in the picture on that link just a little longer but the can will still be under the rail correct ??

I think it'll be more like second picture, the one with it under the rail looks way too short to be NR. It does say at the top for illustration purposes , so I think these are just to I've you an idea
 
I just bought a restricted. can I buy a barrel and replace it? Will it be NR? are there barrels for sale?

I hope the answer is not a simple "buy an NR"..

If you bought it from us they are all registered as carbines for the NR conversion option should you want to go that way.

so, if i have a pistol, does that mean i can get a 10 rd magazine?

No, the RCMP unfortunately restricted the magazine capacity to 5 rounds when they issued the FRT number so it was pointless to register any of them under a pistol FRT. We opted to register everything under the carbine FRT for the NR option.
