No problem with Gen 1, but don't expect it to fit on an X95 when they come out.
I like mine, and make pretty regular use of it. But remember that it's not a true bipod: if you front load it and lean forward you can have the feet roll back under you.
Think of it more like employing a grip-pod.

It looks cool and its useful for a little extra stability
