How do you guys find the reticle on the APV by Mueller? Some have said it is a bit thick when compared to a mil-dot.

It would be mounted on a 22lr and not shot any farther than 100yds.

Thanks

For shooting critters its fine up to 200 yards For paper punching it's a tad thick.

It is a tad thick if you're going to use it for precision work on paper, but that becomes an advantage in lower light if you plan to hunt with it.

I'm able to get sub half moa groups with my apv at 100 yards, just as I am able to do with my 8.5-25X44 mueller with mildot reticle.

Definitely not just a rimfire scope. I use mine on a 270 without problems, as did Phil when I spoke to him about the same scope last winter. It will be great on your 22-250. :)

thanx for quick responses. Narrowed my replacement for my Tasco to the Mueller, Bushnell Trophy, and Simmons Aetec. From what I've read here and from some other articles inthis forum, I think the Mueller is the way to go.:dancingbanana:

I ordered my Mueller from Phil wednesday just before noon and picked it up at the post office after work on Friday. Mounted it that night and went to range this morning. Bore sighted from 100 yards and fired a 3 shot group. adjusted and fired 3 more after a brief cool-down. One more slight adjustment and now am ready for gopher patch tomorrow.

Nice optics and adjustments are easy and accurate.

Thanx, Phil for the quick service.:)

I ordered mine on Friday, can't wait 'til next week!!:dancingbanana:
