Thigh holster question

Thigh holsters suck at the best of times. They move around, especially if you need to run and the gun usually sits too low. Carrying a pistol every day for the better part of a couple of decades, I suggest a regular belt holster with perhaps a drop shank.

Winnipeg Police member shot by his own holstered Glock was using a thigh holster, make unknown at this time. Not sure if the holster played any part in the gun going off by itself. i am not a fan of these.

unless you need it to clear something.. keep it on belt

IF you need it to clear something.. then use http://www.safariland.com/products/...a-11109.html#sm.0000n2vznewoxepwwx22i5uasvziv with http://www.safariland.com/all-produ...d-19866.html#sm.0000n2vznewoxepwwx22i5uasvziv and a compatible holster

Drops it just enough... sitting in vehicle as driver a dropleg makes it almost impossible to draw.. running with a drop is cumbersome and makes it almost impossible to draw... movement through the day with a drop makes it uncomfortable.. having a pant leg continuously riding up also makes it teh suck.
