Thin 1/4" Open Wrenches...

Does anyone know where I might find a couple of thin 1/4 inch open wrenches, such as are used to adjust the trigger of a Winchester M70? I tried searching on eBay, but nothing turned up.

If you hang one wrench off the top nut over the spring you don't need thin wrenches... the nut is large enough to do that...

If you need a thin wrench I think it is easier just to grind a wrench down from one side using a disc grinder... only the head area needs to be done..

Princess Auto or Canadian Tire. They were once known as "Ignition Wrenches". Or just use your grinder, as mentioned. - dan

Thanks for the suggestions fellas...I'll see if I can do it with the regular sized wrenches. If not I'll try and get my aunt to pick me up a set a Cndn Tire. Thanks again!

What I do when I need a special tool is go to a pawn shop, buy a wrench, screwdriver or socket for a buck or less, modify it as needed and my sets of wrenches stay intact.

snap on sells thin wrenches lkike that but they are expensive, for something you are gonna use a few times, but a cheap one and grind it thinner

Yup...that's a good suggestion. I'll buy a couple tomorrow and shave them down on my bench grinder. Thanks for the suggestions fellows!
