Hey everyone , iv seen alot of pictures and videos of people with AR's that have thin magazines they look either 9mm for .22 , Also around i see people talking a no more than 5 round per magazine law. Does that apply to just certain types of ammunition because from some of those slim mag's iv seen people put out a few more than 5 rounds

Assuming that you are talking only about within Canada, AR-15 mags are limited to 5 rounds. There are legal 10 round pistol mags mag for the AR-15 in .223 Rem and 9mm as well.
There is no capacity limit for rimfire rifles, and the Ceiner and other conversion kits for the AR-15 with 25 and larger rounds.
