Thin wall 357?

I have loading for a few years but I have just started loading 357.
I have several cases with various head stamps where the projectiles will fall into the case. Even after factory crimp I can still move them by hand.
Anyone have this issue before?

Can't decide if I should tear them down and measure wall thickness or shoot singe rounds and scrap the brass.
Only have 9 like this so far out oof 100

Only time I ever experienced this was when the cases weren't sized small enough. Last wazs another guy and his .30 carbine ammo. I sized the brass and they all seated solid. Speak more about your die setup?

I had the same issue with 44 mag using campro bullets
Annealing the brass and using a Lee factory crimp die seemed to fix the issue

Not much to tell. Full length size die set to touch the shell plate. Just enough flare to fit the projectile easily. I would say I'm using medium crimp.

I have had dies work loose in my reloading press. I snug them down with a thin channel lock adjustable now.
Just a thought to pass along in case the crimp die is working loose.

357 cases are cheap and plentiful. It's not worth hassling over problem cases. Just chuck them.

Pulled 2 apart. Mouth brass is .010 thinner than shells that seat properly. I'll toss all defective cases.
Will probably order some starline online in the future. $35/100
My local shop is $75 per 100.

One was Hornady the other was PPU I think. Possibly RP.

Personally I'd buy once fired cases off the EE or GnuPost or the like. 38/357 cases are everywhere.

If you full length sized the cases then it has to be the bullets. mic the bullets to check the diameter.

I've never had cases that I couldn't size to properly hold a bullet. Don't get me wrong, some head stamps are a pain in the a$$, but if your bullet is just sliding through, then there's something else going on. Check the bullets, as Cement Head suggested, but I'm curious about your die setup. What brand sizing die? Are you using a Lee FCD after sizing? Also, decap, size, barely flare, and check at that point, before crimping, to see if you can determine at what stage your problem presents itself. Finally, check your sizing die. Is the carbide ring cracked?

I've loaded over 40 k ofCampro .357 bullets and don't recall any similar problem. It's possible you got 9 undersize bullets but I think it's more likely you have 9 pieces of out of spec once fired brass or for whatever reason those cases missed the sizing die or whatever...I would just toss the brass, double check your loading procedure.
