Over my 50 years of shooting, I've heard so much erroneous information and blatantly idiotic statements that I don't know where to begin. I've kind of developed a process. Firstly, BE PATIENT AND DON'T SCORN OR LAUGH AT THEM! Secondly, try to find out where they read/heard/saw the "information" they're disseminating. Thirdly, start correcting the flaws and/or errors in their viewpoints and where possible, cite laws and good sources of information. Some people are too stubborn and stupid to chance their viewpoints no matter how logical or factual your explanation. Those folks are just write-offs. Another favourite quote to share with you all, "Never argue with an idiot! They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."
