Things not do do with your wife: #3

Somehow, I have never believe this is real.

For one, the video footage is ####.

Two, she seems to have different reactions to the force of the bullet hitting the glass, sometimes, its like nothing happens, other times her arms are thrown back with the force.

Three, I think holding a small piece of bullet proof glass, and have a bullet hit it would cause enough force to drop the sheet, or at least really hurt your hands after a few shots.

You know you are a red-nek couple when you do this for amusement and don't give her a fresh piece of glass when it gets all cracked up R:d: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7mr7CK7zEk ..... seriously, anyone who does this is a fool.

As far as that goes, shooting cigarettes out of a person's mouth/hand was apparently not an uncommon exhibition shot back in the day, if you were Annie Oakley or one of the Topperweins.

I am wondering if this is more likely exhibition shooting instead of bullet proof glass testing?

One: The video is supposedly from 1931. They didn't have video cameras the likes of what we have today. Post #8 http://message.snopes.com/showthread.php?t=48806

Two: I'm wondering if a lot of it is her reacting to the shot, the glass moving from more than just impact of the shot?

Three: Looking at the video it appears he's firing a pellet rifle, or a .22, as the firearm doesn't seem to recoil at all from the shots. I think its a pellet rifle, or a tube fed pump action .22, leaning towards pellet rifle because of the varying degree of power between the shots. You can also see the bullets falling after they hit the glass on some of the shots.

Somehow I am sure somebody on this site would be able to give details about the items shown and their historical accuracy, or inaccuracy. Probably a lot of people actually have that knowledge.
