Did you ever drive that on a major road near West Edmonton Mall?

If you did I have already seen it.

Does it need canadian plates?

Is the "gun" just a piece of pipe hard-welded to the turret? It doesn't look to be movable?

Did you not have it painted green recently?

Great job all around! Must have taken a lot of hours :)

actually another question

What do you have to do to drive that on the road. Because whatever it is I bet it is worth it.

No plates yet...its fairly easy to do so though

the gun isnt yet...the turret opening was welded shut and needs to be cut off...the correct FN-MAG mg mount is in the shop

I quickly rattle-canned it green last summer cuz I couldnt bear all the chipped paint and rust

The vast majority of the work was chiseling the 20 layers of old paint off

Wouldn't fitting a TNW 1919 be an option worth consideration? Great rig for gopher hunting.....

Many provinces have rules about shooting from a vehicle when hunting. But I have never heard any rules against shooting at a range from a vehicle. I have driven my M38A1 more than a few times with the GPMG on the swing arm, over to the Brandon ranges to let a box or two loose.

Going on 40 yrs ago we were having a b*itch of a time keeping the Ferrets mobile on account of the wheel hubs and parts thereof. I don't imagine the spare parts situation has improved mutch since then.;)

A friend imported several in Tucson. I got to drive one from the impound lot to his business. I was amazed at how polite other drivers were when I signalled to change lanes;)
