Picked up my new s&w 69 from Canada post, haven't shot it yet but what a nice balanced revolver, frame size is perfect, great sights.. Can't wait to send some lead to the gongs on the weekend
 
I recently got one as well. LOVE it. Eats mild to wild no problem and recoil really isn’t that bad.

Although I usually roll my own ammo, I bought a box of remington 185gr i think. Those remingtons produce a fireball about 3 feet long and two feet wide! :D

Also, got an allchin mount for it and put a deltapoint on. Hitting steel at 200 is pretty easy now.
 
Don't think I would like the satin finish. One little rub will be like a mark and you can't polish it out. Use it a bunch and end up with a bunch of little marks. Blued steel or polished SS is better IMHO.

I do prefer the polished finish on. My other smith's, but wanted this gun, I have a taurus that's the same finish and not that bad to clean

The biggest problem with this gun is my wife doesn't know I bought it, which with previous long term relationships wasn't a problem.. But my wife is a gunnie and knows what we have... Lmao first world problems
