I have a Leupold clone from 1337 tactical on my Savage and it works well enough for my purposes... Having said that my Savage is only .223 and any significant adjustment in the windage requires an elevation correction, and vice versa... The quality matches the price.

Might be.. What's your budget like? I've seen quite a few Aimpoints and Eotechs in the EE lately. $400-500 ballpark.

Buy something better ,I bought a one at Lebaron,s only under a different
name brand and i don`t like it in bright sunlight i can`t see the dot .
you should spend more on a sight then 80$.

Save your pennies on crap that will break later or suck and spend it and get something good that will last. Aimpoint/EoTech and the Aimpoint Micros are great for a lower height dot.

All the cheapies crap out- get quality with the smallest dot possible - it looks bigger when turned up and can be used for target shooting when turned down. Suggest the aimpoint micro - 5 year battery life too --

I have had one similar to that and it was garbage. It didn't hold zero, and ate batteries like my 1992 sony discman.

I have a tasco red dot right now. It likes to fog up when it gets wet.

I'll chime in with the others. You get what you pay for in sights.
