Thinking about an Aimpoint PRO or Trijicon RX34 for an LE6920... thoughts?

I would be using this primarily at an indoor 50 yd range. Trying to keep the price below $600.

The carry handle would obviously be coming off and I'd be including a MAGPUL rear BUIS. What can I say- always a pessimist.

The PRO is not quite state of the art technology, but seems pretty reasonable and robust. Pretty long battery life.

The RX34 doesn't need batteries and also seems okay for the application- just not sure about the lighting levels in the indoor range.. The lack of batteries is a plus... but 10 years from now the tritium might not glow as well.

Thoughts from people familiar with either or both would be appreciated.

Just picked up a PRO at a great price. I'm liking it just as much as my eotech. It can be thrown at the wall and still hold zero (the distributor did this with the demo).

the RX34 and RMR are newer revisions and dont have the bad washout issues some earlier fiber sights did. I have owned them both and they are top notch. I used them indoor, outdoor, everywhere without issues. Always on, never have battery issues, rugged and lighter than most because they save on battery weight. Only time you're gonna have issues is if you're in a dark place with no light and you're pointing the reticule at a lightbulb. Yeah then it's going to be invisible. Never happened to me in any practical situation yet. Even in 10 years it’s going to look fine with the help of the fiber optics. Plus trijicon replaces tritium free for the life of your sight.

Tritium CAN be replaced...

Talked with Trijicon.... they expect approx 15 yr life from the tritium. Currently, it would be about $200 to replace the tritium in the sight (don't think that includes shipping).

So, if the sight's somewhere between $600-750, it's approx 1/3 to 1/4 the price of the sight.

Just something to factor in, I suppose.

Price point is good, and it's solid optic.

I'll but another one when the time comes.
