The other thing about subsonic bullets is that the shapes that give good advantage over the speed of sound are not necessarily the best below the speed of sound. For instance the flat based tangent ogive bullet I shoot out of my .45-110 has a measured G1 BC of well over 0.5 at the appropriate velocities.
