Thinking of a red dot for my AR 15

Too funny thread.:)

$1400.00 Gun
>$100.00 Optic:confused:
why not top it off with a $20.00 gun case:slap:

I used to transport my "blue star" in one of those 20 bucks plastic case with deers and other scenic stuff on the cover :) - but I did have a 1000 dollars ACOG on it.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I haven't decided yet, but I just spent my money on another handgun in the EE tonight. If I had to choose between the Aimpoint and Eotech I would most likely choose Aimpoint, but I really like the ACOG styling of that Bushnell T-dot.

Sparrow, I use a 100+ ADG Sports take-down shotgun/tactical rifle case to transport my AR. I can also fit up to three handguns in the case as well if I separate the upper and lower. :D

EOTech's are only fuzzy if you don't know how to use them. Focus on the target, not the reticle.

If you crack up the eotech too much, it will turn grainly.

But on the other hand, if you crank up the aimpoint too much, depending on your eye condition, the dot will turn into weird shape as well ( starburst and triangle....etc)

You said it. If you turn it up TOO MUCH.

Get the ML3 because the extra low light settings for night vision aren't very useful for the M3. I have the M3 but i think i wasted something like $50, becaue I'll never have night vision. Go for the ML3.

who carries Aimpoint here in Canada?

I bought my Aimpoint Comp M4s from P&D Enterprises.

I had called TSE first as I knew they had them in stock but it was 09:00 and they weren't open yet. So on a whim and being the impatient person I am, I called P&D (I have had very good dealings with them in the past). Turns out they had the M4s in stock and were about $50 cheaper than TSE. :D
