Thinking of a redfield revolution 2-7x33

I have to replace the scope on one of my rifles.It's a savage 99e lightweight carbine in .300 and it kicks a tad.Are these scopes up to the task?How's the eye relief?Thanks

I have a 3-9 on my 30-06,Right off the bat I had problems every time I shot the crosshairs moved.Sent it back for warranty,had it back in 2 weeks and have had no problems since.I think I just got unlucky with it but now I love it and would buy another one in a second.

No need to worry. I just sold him a VXII for what he would have paid for the Redfield.

On the contrary,i'm plenty disappointed.The reticle is far to thin for a hunting scope.It's basically useless to me.My bad for not asking what kind of reticle it had i guess.I assumed it would have a duplex reticle.Why they would put a reticle so thin in a 2-7 hunting scope is beyond me.
