thinking of a tokarev

I bought one of the used TT33 that Tradex is selling. it's great, a lot of fun to shoot. picked up some cheap extra mags for it on ebay. I now have 3 Russian Weapons. A Nagant 7 shot Revolver, The TT33 & a Mosin Nagant rifle.

Dealer in town here is getting 25 or 30 of these in at about $260 apiece. 2 weeks ago one guy sold 6 in a day. kind of popular around here.

I still have some Soviet TT33 for sale in the EE section.

Many with 2 matching magazines, and all of them with new to like new bore.

In the last moth I bought a new Polish from Kellys and another from Weimerjack. Then I bought a 1939 Tula (refurb) from Weimjack. The two Polish shoot a bit better than the Russian, but the recent Russian shoots better than my other Russian.

Buy one of each...

My TT-33 is very accurate for a surplus firearm shooting surplus ammo. It sounds absurd, but we chronyed the 53 surplus ammo I shoot through it and it was surprisingly consistant (I'd have to look in my notes to find the exact number, but something like a 30 FPS spread over 6 shots.) The gun is super tight and I've had several good pistol shooters shoot it and agree with me that it is very accurate. I had to laugh when one guy shot a better group with my Tokarev than he did with his H&K Mk 23. I know it sounds crazy, I think I got lucky. The downside is that the tight fit and tolerances on my TT-33 compared to most all the others makes it jam more than most others as well.
