Thinking of adding a full-stock to the safe...

Should I drag out some pictures of the full stock'd 45-70 enfield to add/corrupt this thread? Perhaps when I get it back with blueing on which would be maybe this week or when I get back from hunting.

If I see a ruger 7x57 in blued up for grabs Ill let you know, I'd be interested to buy one but I think Ill wait and see if a 9.3x62 lefty becomes availible next year.

GR 100 You must mean this one..........

Unfortunately due to the big move right now I haven't been able to shoot it.
Here's a few more full stocks I've been hoarding in my gun vault, as with the OP and others I seem to have an affinity for full wooded rifles. I much prefer them in short actions though.
OP, you were considering the CZ 550 FS, I highly recommend them for around the same price as the Zastava, well OK a couple hundred more, they are 10X the rifle for a little more money.
The one in the background is my 360 Wagner ( AKA 9.3X62) which I used to slay a record book Atlantic Walrus.
The one in the foreground is a 7X64, which I bought on a whim and could be convinced I didn't need it.;)

I do like that 7X64 and I already have a FS 9.3 so it wouldn't feel lonely ....

What exactly are you implying Kevan?;)

I probably misunderstood that line in your post regarding the 7X64... " I bought on a whim and could be convinced I didn't need it".
I took it to mean that you might consider parting with it, that's all and since I already had a CZ 550FS in 9.3 it wouldn't feel lonely in my safe..
Sorry for any confusion I caused..

If you're interested Kevan, I might consider parting with a Dumoulin in 7x64.

No confusion Kevan, that's exactly what I meant. PM me if you're really interested.

I thought it was against your religion to sell a firearm. Mildly disappointed, Sir. Mildly disappointed.

It pretty much is 1899, but you know, nothing is cast in stone and I do make the odd trade from time to time. I really bought it on a whim and then wondered why immediately after. I have a 7-08, 280 Rem, 7mm RM, 7 RUM, so why I bought a 7X64 is beyond me!! It was purtty, I guess. I would trade it in a heartbeat for a 7X57 or 6.5X55 in a full stock.

I had the cabinets open today and thought I'd post a few.

I like them all - but you sure don't see FS M70's every day.

The LOP on that sweet little .222 Rem Mag seems quite long....or has the .308 been shortened?

The 2 Steyrs are of different vintages, the SL is Pre 68 with trigger guard mag release and the L is from around 1990. No cutdowns on either one.
The Winchester 70 in 243 is the second rarest of the production with 308 being most scarce at around 400 produced.
