Thinking of getting a Glock 19x as my first handgun, change my mind?

Glock is a good gun to start with, it is cheap works good and most important..... it gets you in the hobby.
Once you start you will almost automatically start looking at other guns, just so you know. Buy it have fun. It wont be your last.

Also, am I the only one that was a little ticked off that Glock added the extra lip to the bottom of the grip to the 19X so the G17 Gen 5 magazines won’t fit?

seems there is a cure to that problem: change the floor plate of your gen5 mags to gen3-4 and voila your mags will work in your g19x and your gen5 glock.

Glock 19x is great, I do prefer the sig 320, or masada, masada is amazing, my opinion.

Hopefully mine shows up today? , BTW how did your shoot? low? and with 147gr?
