It actually does feel more comfortable, but for me it is also more pleasing to the eye. The picture doesn't do it justice, the look of the color case hardening really stands out. Now I just use this for cowboy, I think I would cry dragging it around the bush. I'm actually planning on getting a Marlin in 44 mag, since I still have a thousand rounds or so of brass and components even though the pistols are gone.

too vanilla or just too good
I'm a 30-30 fan myself, but pistol cartridge levers are so much more fun for plinking and small game. In Australia, you could use them on spiders!
