Thinking of trading up my EVO

Hey guys....

Well its been fun with my EVO 10/22 but im wanting to move onto something different..... Im just posting this thing here to guage some ideas for a new project....

The current pieces i have are

Evolution 10/22 stock (black)
8.5" Krinker heavy barrel
ACE ARFX AR-15 buttstock
Pistol Grip.
Scout extended Rail, side rails X 2


Im interested in something like a 10-14" heavy barrel.
And i was thinking of a couple styles of stocks.

Hogue Ruger 10/22 Overmold Stock - Heavy Barrel
Bell & Carlson Ruger 10/22 Odyssey Stock
Bell & Carlson Ruger 10/22 Anschutz Style Thumbhole Stock
Bell & Carlson Ruger 10/22 Anschutz Style Stock


i dunno... anybody have any other suggestions?

All the syntetic Bell&Carlsons I've seen are absolute garbage.

The inletting is left as it is from injection.
It would be nice to say that it requires "fitting", but
in reality it requires machining in order to accept the receiver.
The materials are the cheapest (resin foam), very brittle.



Much better to go with Hogue.
Look at the synthetic Fajen (adjustable).
If you like 2-colors laminate, look at Revival,
but there are few others of the same shape
(google stockystocks).

PS If you say you want to go with very short barrels,
you can look at Barracuda (it will not support a long barrel).

anybody interested in trading a hogue overmold stock and a er shaw barrel? (;

I had the ER and Houge bull overmold. I traded the brl out for a GM fluted stainless 16.5 inch. The ER looks good with a sweet flash hider...Other wise I think it looks wierd
