So I put a 12.5 inch dlask barrel on my wifes 10/22 and ordered her a sweet boyds stock along with it for Christmas a couple years ago and now I've found myself drooling over the 12.5 grey birch solutions carbon fibre barrel.. trying to justify replacing my factory 16.1 hammer forged bull barred( the one with the fancy spiraling).. it will definitely make the rifle a bit lighter and I do carry it alot of kilometers every year hunting birds and rabbits so that will definitely be nice. Also will be alot easier to have it in the front seat of the truck with me while in the truck while on route to my hiking trails.. questions I have are does anybody have experience with these grey birch barrels? Hows the accuracy? My factory bull barrel shoots mini mags in 1/2" groups at 25 yards with ease, even smaller if I really take my time. Also what could I expect to sell my factory barrel for? Has a bit of bluing loss on the very edge of the muzzle end of the barrel and has had a couple spots of surface rust start on the top under the scope a couple times but has been cleaned and oiled right away cant really notice it unless you really look for it.. overall looks in very good condition, super accurate with a few thousand rounds through it and has killed a couple hundred ruffed grouse..
