Third Annual FRPC Multigun

I have confirmed with SFRC, they will be on site to unveil the new NEA AR-15!!!!

Only 6 spots left.

We're excited to be able to be able to be at this event to show off our new rifle. Thanks to SFRC, the FRPC and all organizers for providing us with a great venue.

I guess its true...friends that play together stay together....but has andrew seen this picture yet? I want to hear those comments....he he he!
OOOOHHHHH! A special announcement...could it be related to this unfolding development first witnessed at the IDPA Provincials??

o.k. just went to shoot my AR at club and I hit reasonable close to bullseye with my crappy rest that was there to use...at 200 yds., but only put two on paper at 300 yds. of at least 10 rnds...and they were far off.. I aimed high on top ofpaper, assuming reasonable drop, and shot a few with slight rise from bullseye... and not sure where I was putting them...?
I know I had ####ty rest to use and was not keeping gun steady, but so off from 200 to 300...
whats normal drop from 200 - 300 yds range ?

I guess I can shoot my Bar 300 winmag for the 300 yrd shots...I'll go back and try a few rnds with that and hope to keep them on the paper...

Another road trip for the TMC Crew. We will be there. We really have to set something up down here for you gentlemen to shoot! Your range is just so much nicer than ours though! :D

Just back from a one week trip out to Alberta just in time for the SFRC open house tomorrow.

Got a few rounds down range with 1topgun "captain WTF" today, wow been a while since I've had the rifle out.

would the scope mounting height make difference in the above #'s ? I'm guessing not....
I'm going back and bringing better gun rest and try it again...with the crappy rest i was using, i was hitting slightly high at 100m and pretty much on at 200m., so i should have had them on paper if i aimed 6-7" higher than bullseye...

If you are on the bullseye at 200m the second line will be your numbers for 100m and 300m.

Our next match is on for Oct 1st it will be a multigun. Please let me know as soon as you can if you intend to shoot it, the majority of the spots were taken up at the IDPA Provincials. As with our other matches non-FRPC members must pay in advance.

Cost of the match is $40, the match will be run using IDPA rules and scoring.
It will be a “run what you brung” match so if it is legal and approved by all means bring it. (LAR-15 mags…)

The match will be 4 stages
Combination of 120 rounds
40 Pistol
40 Carbine (.223 or 7.62X39 or smaller, Pistol Calibre Carbines are allowed)
20 bird shot (7 or 8)
10 Slugs
10 Rifle (you can use your carbine for this stage if you wish).

Stay tuned for an announcement about a special unveiling in the next day or two to take place at the match!

Lunch will be provided.

Spotters allowed for the crazy fools that will try the 300m with iron sights?

Will there be any time to do some 100m or longer sighting shots?

I'm not sure if I'll be able to get on a range longer than 25m after putting a scope on my 308....

I do ok with a pistol...
But I need all the help I can get with the longer guns!! :D

Bulletflight tells me that a 100m zero will be .6" low at 25m.... I'll go with that and see how accurate it ends up when I adjust for the longer shots...... :p

You should sight in for 200. What bullet are you using? Send me the details and I will send you a drop chart. I can enter range elevation, BMP, RH, average wind speed.

Then send you one for a 22 LR :D

If I could sight in at 200, I wouldn't be worried... I'm only going to be able to put on the scope and shoot it at 25m to get close.

BulletFlight says a 200m zero with 168gr bullets will be dead on at 25m....
But it'll be +2.7" at 100m, and -10.8" at 300m.

Now to figure what the scope is (I think 1/4 min clicks....). :p
