This .22LR shortage is starting to piss me off.

Businesses love this. We are hoarders, businesses cant keep them on the shelves. Not at lower prices anyways. I watched a brick sell for $60 at a gun show a few days ago. That's insane. I paid 99 cents for 50 rounds a couple weeks ago, I was so happy.

Bought my first .22 ammo 18 months ago @ $25 for 525 Federal bulk and similar for Blazer. It might as well have been 10 years ago - nothing like that available now. I guess it's moving the opposite direction to Oil (Gasoline) so if I take the savings on one and apply them to the other then maybe I'm better off overall ;)

I don't think anyone in their right mind would pay that. A site sponsor just had them on sale for $199 for a case of 5000...

LOL thats funny, I just watched a local store selling 50 round boxes for 5.99, They had 1000's of rounds in stock, sold out in less then a month!

Also I'm getting messages so I guess people do want them! Thanks for your 2 cents though,

And also that was a black friday deal, they had like 7 cases at that price, did you get one? lol doesn't sound like it

CCI Mini Mag is going for about that amount retail around here ($10 per 100 rounds) when you can find it...suitable for semi's as well.

And I do agree, but they sell out fast whereever they are, if you can even find them!

Gagnons is a local store and they sold out of the mini mags and the Quiets SO fast! and that was at 5.99 for 50 rounds of Quiet, here is the link

So you're saying we should look at the possibilities of petrol-powered .22s...

Well, the original idea for internal combustion engines were with gunpowder, so this would be full-circle!

I was at P&D on Thursday and saw about 20 boxes of 525 bulk for $25 each. Had Winchester bulk as well.

True, Never had much luck with the bulk winchester stuff, not only that, it kills me to pay 19.99 when I feel like 6 months ago it was like 12$ for a box of 222.

I don't think finding ammo is the problem, finding good priced good quality ammo is the problem.

Thats still a lot for 222. Not long ago 333 was $12 and 555 was 19.99

At a recent distributor show they were not even taking orders for .22 ammunition. They explained we would have to get online on a daily basis and look for any .22 ammo that was offered of course with no discounts what so ever no matter how large the order. At one point last year a distributor tried to limit the purchase of .22 with the purchase of one .22 rifle (that was harder to sell) you could buy one brick of .22 ammo. We declined but now I'm thinking that might not have been a bad deal. Time will tell. Phil.

And despite this, you are still selling the .22 ammunition that you have at a very fair price. Thank you. As always, your staff and service is second to none
