This .22LR shortage is starting to piss me off.

Just noticed Cabela's has American Eagle 38gr HP's in. I thought to myself, "time to stock up on some of the AE hollow points now" as I bought a bunch of the 40gr RN ones a while back.

I was about to add a couple cases to the cart when I noticed the hollow points come in 40 round packs. So instead of 7c a round it's more like 9c/round.

If you need it it's there, I'll pass on this one and be kind to the wallet for a change!

LOL. I remember going to CT, grab a bunch of the small boxes at 5.39$ EA and go home. Only then I realized that these were 40 rounds boxes....but my Marlin 795 really likes AE.

Haha. Yeah me and my rifles seem to like the American Eagle stuff too.

Cabela's did get some of my money last night though, as I noticed CCI .22 short CB's at 10c/round. I only want them so as to have some .22 shorts in the collection, lol.

They also have CCI .22wmr Maxi-Mag 30gr HP for $18/50 for anyone looking for WMR. I know it's hard to find, at least around these parts.

was in SAIL north of toronto today and they had tons of winchester white boxes for sale 555round brick for $34.99...don't like this brand nor its price ...

On the other hands, more and more CTs are selling firearms. Wonder if they will figure out, youll have a tough time selling them if ammo isnt in stock or at silly prices.

I know someone who works at the local Can Tire and they told me that the store was starting to make plans to sell firearms again. When I worked at the old store (not the new box store) as a student a long time ago we sold tons of guns. Anyway, she also mentioned that the owner was looking into getting Russian made 22lr ammo. Anybody know what she might be talking about? I see that Wolf stuff sold in the US.

Just got 3x555 packs for 100 all in, also grabbed some AE at CT in Pembroke for 28bucks a brick plus tax. Have enough to last a couple years now. Just over 5000 rds in stock for the ol 22.......

The Russian .22 ammo I see is usually that "Junior" something or other and is complete garbage. Lousy accuracy in any gun, including a Baikal, I have tried it in and very dirty.
