Would you like some cheese with your whine?
I had some until I realized its a free market. I'm just as cheap as you guys, if not more so. Feel free to pay more or find it cheaper.

You just don't get it. No one is saying we don't live in a free market, capitalist society. You are entitled to ask whatever price you wish for whatever merchandise you are selling.

In your case, however, you're seen consistently b*tching and moaning about other individuals, retailers and businesses for their asking price(s) for the merchandise they are selling.

You make yourself look hypocritical and foolish, is all.

Who is buying SuperX wood bricks @ $59.99?????????????????????????
Why on earth would someone spend 12.6 cents a round on bulk ammo?
Fed 525 is still $31.50 a brick

I hope everyone is paying attention to price.

Bingo, so like everyone said, someone is gouging us.
Wish the dealers would be honest with us and let us know their new costs.

11 cents a shot. Id pay the same for match ammo and not bulk junk.
If you do a search for cci quiet. Youll find issues with a wide range in fps. Funny cause all other cci brand ammo is topnotch

Lol so in tge long run if he does sell the ammo he make $100 max.
That isnt alot imo.
I bought 30+ bricks of dynapoint for 31.50 tax in.
Its now $42. So $10 a brick. $300 profit if I sold everything.
Thats all great but then Im out off 22 and would have to buy st 10+ cents a round.
Id rather sit on it and give it to my kids.

I just spent $2K on 10K CCI Velocitor.22LR ammunition. in a few days, I should have close to 20K rounds total with everything I have on order.

10K CCI Velocitor
2.5K CCI Stinger
3K CCI Tactical
4.5K Yellow Jacket...or maybe it's Thunderbolt

thinking of ordering a bunch of the Bucket o Bullets too...thinking...

Am I reading this right? Is a case of 5000 CCI Velocitors really going for $1000.00 these days? I know they are hard to find but damn...

Velocitors are running $10 for 50 rounds the few times I've seen them recently, so yeah, 10,000 rounds would be $2000.

Got brick last fall for 9/50 and 2 more bricks this spring for 7/50 so I averaged pretty good :) scared to shoot em for fear of not finding anymore, lol. Prefer them to stingers, sold a few of them at cost but kept 2 bricks.

This increase in .22 LR pricing is crazy.

18 months ago my Local Gun Store was charging 26.99 for a box of Federal 525 HP. Last Time I was there they were priced at $41.99 a Box. That's a 64% increase in 18 months. That's insane.

Personally I have some kind of mental block, I can't bring myself to spend more then 7 cents a round on .22 LR.

It's weird, I don't seem to have a problem spending:

- 17 cents a round for 7.62x39
- $1.00 - $1.50 a round for .308
- $1.00 a round for 12 Gauge Slugs

But I just can't bring myself to spend more then 7 cents a round for bulk .22 The way things are going I'm going to either have to get past this block of mine or hang up the .22's

Spoiled by low prices (3 - 4 cents a round) for too long I guess.

Unfortunately, all ammo is increasing. In April I was buying Win 9mm 100 round value packs for $29.99. Same store has them now for just under $37

The 22-250 rem umc ammo I bought from prophet for 35.50 when the snow was on the ground is selling locally for 65.99 today. The only stuff that hasn't gone up too much is 12gauge 2-3 per box

I hear ya! I have the same problem around $0.10. Anything over a dime a shot & I figure I could be shooting surplus center fire! That was always the attraction of 22 ....... could go out all day having fun without breaking the bank.

All ammo has jumped some amount, except 12 ga, specifically slugs, got some on the weekend for $0.90 each, same for the last 2 years.

I think this shortage has to do with the 1022 shortage awhile back( remember when they were on the EE for outrageous prices)

I have a hard time paying more than $.06 per round for bulk, the auto match I just bought was the first I bought in awhile(aside from a couple bricks of cci sv my LGS got a few months ago) I hope I have enough to last till this insanity blows over. If a brick is now $40, some choice would be nice
