This .22LR shortage is starting to piss me off.

Does the order confirmation email show the shipping charge? You should call them and tell them you thought the shipping was free. It says in the email they will contact you if any changes are made. How many did you order btw?

The original Order confirmation shows the shipping discounted, then I get another confirmation that includes the fact it's getting processed and shipped and it includes a shipping charge with no discount. I figure I'll wait until I actually have the product to call and create a fuss as I don't want them cancelling the order en route, if I recall there was a few last time that got charged and when they complained they reversed the charge and gave them a Cabela's card or something to that effect. I ordered 3,000 rounds.

I retract my statement, when I phoned the lady on the phone must have been very confused despite my follow up questions. They are 23$ per brick of 500. All of their .22lr is very fairly priced and they had an entire shelf full of federal and cci. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near Port Perry. 2 brick per type per customer limit, just a heads up.

I believe they were offered a refund for the shipping or double the amount on a gift card.

Likely same problem as I'm having. When I called in they said there was no stock and tried to cancel my order. I got them to keep it active and will wait til they get more stock in.
Let me know if you find anything out. Seems strange that every single item I ordered was out of stock despite the website listing them in stock. Even the powder funnel and plastic ammo cases apparently weren't in stock.
 
Ordered my 2500 rounds of ae on the 1st with free shipping. No confirmation yet as there system screwed up my pal # but I did phone it in and the lady in customer service said it's now all good. We shall see but I have a order confirmation and # so I'll hold them too it.Mine shows the shipping in then out on the next line
 
Mine is all ready to ship and will ship out on Monday, I ordered 5 bricks of ae plus a ton of backorder ammo. No mention of extra shipping in any of the conversations with cabelas :)

Was the last box on sale @20$ mind you.

Shop was called Lachance. They had tons of CCI Quiet 500rnd @ 49$ and Winchester Wildcats 500rnds @ 35 or soo (don't remember).
