This .22LR shortage is starting to piss me off.

Ordered 50 boxes of AE from Cabelas on the 31st. Order confirmation email from them on the 3rd and it shipped UPS on the 4th with free shipping. Too bad I just sold my last 22LR gun...

My good pricing I think has been

AE brick for 25 bucks, bought one just because, CCI blazer for 36 and Fed Auto Match for 17/box.

I paid 9 for velocitors, 60/brick CCI sv, and 16 ea for two sleeves of mini mags were all on the high side but I wanted them. Bought a bunch of minis at 9 bucks and some at 8 to cheapen the average up though.

Prices are all over the map depending where ya go and what's around, I'm good for bout 4-5 years I think now.

Had a look at the West Bank CDN Tire awhile back (month or so). Prices were wacked out (crazy) Put them on the "No way in hell am I paying that price, yet" and carried on. Maybe give them a telephone call for up todate price. Guy behind counter was easy to talk to

It's too bad, I have bought ammo from CT for literally decades, they always had stock and good prices. They even used to have staff that knew guns. I asked a girl to open the ammo case about a year ago, and she looked at me like I was a terrorist (she probably still thinks I am), and she got someone else to do it. Just the kind of feeling I was hoping for after 30 years of being a customer. I even liked buying ammo when I was young with CT money. Ahhh memories :)

I picked up a brick of Remington Thunderbolt ($27.95) and Federal Game Shok 40gr ($36.95) at William's in Port Perry yesterday. It worked out just over $0.07/round tax in. They also have some CCI and Sellier & Bellot in stock.

Sail in Burlington has a sign stating that no types of .22 are available at all. And the sign is laminated. When someone laminates a sign, that means the problem/issue is pretty much permanent.

Just don't forget SAIL is a Q.C. company that may explain some of it..

Has anyone shot some seller n bellot? How's it perform? I've seen tons of it available locally but still $50 a brick.. Quality bulk ammo seems to be extinct now days

I got a box of Sellier & Bellot a while ago. I've used about half of it just to see how it works. My CZ 452 Varmint liked it. It's quite accurate and reliable but it's nothing to write home about. IMO, it's overpriced.

Cabelas has CCI in a few variations back in stock, most I have seen in a while on their web site. Also a box of Winchester M22 is up to $75.00. Ridiculous.

Same here dynaports for $40 @ brick, I don't think so.The 325 rounders of federal target right next door at wss for $22 was a better deal.

Just checked my shipping confirmation from cabelas and they charged me for shipping even though I have a confirmed order for free shipping on my 2500 rounds of AE.I'll wait till I recieve it then phone in and dispute the charges.
