This .22LR shortage is starting to piss me off.

Was just in P&D today, wish i would have known about those CCI ammo cans. Definitely would have stopped in earlier if i had known. Had to make due with a couple bricks of CCI target ammo.

Yellow Jackets at Walmart today. They had 3 bricks. Picked one up and got to the counter. $60. Told them to keep it. Told them it was double the price it should be. Rip off. I thought Remington Golden Bullets 525 pak at Crappy Tire was bad a $44.

Was at p and d today they had a ton of .22 lr. 30 boxes of yellow jackets 20 + remington vipers. 20+ boxes of cci mini mag but I seen more the guy just stocked them back up plus those other cci match. Vipers are 51 a box the yellow jackets were 60 and they had a pile of the fiochii match .22 lr bricks for 100$ don't see why they are that much? Also a few other kinds seems like no shortage of .22

One thing about our hobby: the retail price of guns and ammo always increase in price over time:

Actually I have always found yellow jackets to be on the more expensive side, even before all this they seemed to be $45 a brick

I bought six boxes of Winchester 333 at Canadian Tire today for $20 each. It works out to $30 / 500. It's not the best ammo, but it's worked fine for me and it's the cheapest I can find. They also had Winchester Dynapoint GT at $40 per brick... That's getting ridiculous for bulk ammo.

I not sure what the gouging is all about. There seems to be a plethora of .22lr in and around Edmonton as of late. I have replenished and am in good shape for many more years should the so called "shortage" continue.

Anyone needing cci can head over to theEE. Guy has some insanely priced stuff. He is asking $80 a brick for SV. I hope he doesn't sell a single one

LOL already sold whole the lot :) I did knock the prices down a bit though,

Just like the guy selling 4 bricks of SV for 300$ right,, pretty sure thats 75$ a brick

Thats when I said why don't I list some! Clearly some people are having troubles finding it and "need CCI"!

And Id rather have the cheap stuff for plinking,

Thanks though :) lol
