This Blaser stock is crazy

Agreed, if in fact it is synthetic I think they missed the mark.

I agree wholeheartedly with your take on it. I have worked with antique, reclaimed, distressed what ever you want to call it wood of one sort or another for a long time, but that just looks tacky to me. Others may not agree, I'm ok with that, but definitely not my cup of tea.
 
Okay, so...I thought the post indicated that this was a synthetic stock...

Is it an ugly synthetic...or a really ugly wood one...?
 
Skeuomorphic kitsch...about as far from what I want in a rifle as you can get. Looks like a gun used to play a video game. It would be hilarious except for the fact that some people are going to love it and want to own it. Blaser has come a long way (down) since 1973 (when my Blaser M71 rifle below was made.)
