There are a number of threads on the go right now, may with details, rants, fear & even infighting starting.

The simple solution is this, law abiding gun owners have truth on their side, lets get the truth out there this election. If each AR/Black Gun Owner would convert just 1 friend to the truth of what we are fighting, then the battle would be won Oct 19th.

Threads have their place for ideas, but the real work takes place on our two legs, with a passion and with truth. All the best to each one of you!
 
Of course we are familiar with the rabid Anti's, but there are lots of undecided who are simply unfamiliar with firearms. When you see false information, challenge it and present the actual facts calmly and rationally. Avoid being argumentative. If an Anti insists that their information is accurate, challenge them to prove it. Be like a math teacher and have them show their work. I've been using StatsCan data and in some cases also referring to the US FBI Uniform Crime Report, if the conversation happens to involve the USA.

To truly watch a progressives brain melt, have them Google up the Toronto Police's most wanted for murder page. That page shows one reason why we're not making progress with gun crime in Toronto, nobody wants to address that particular local issue with a 10 foot pole because they'd lose their progressive merit badges.

My daughters got a friend over for a playdate (I'm at work). The kids dad (city guy) likes guns but has never shot one before. I'm trying to wrangle taking him to the range next week or so.

That's the kind of stuff that wins battles for us (aside from election wins and money, of course, ha!).

If everybody just did this once in the next month or so. That would be a whole lot more gun-friendly faces out there.
 
I like idea and I am going to be doing it but I don't think very many people are torn between the two parties just because of guns. My Liberal hippie friend is sold on the enviromentalist cult. He hates trudeau and scheer and loves his SKS. Convincing people to vote conservative is more than gun knowledge.

Well, that will be enough people to give him another majority. You underestimate the stupidity of the average Canadian voter.

Unfortunately York University alone is about 55 thousand strong and the way things are in Canadian universities does not suggest that the idiocy will decrease in the near future within the population....Another thing is that you guys ,especially "old timers" within gun community , have to make an effort to nurture youngsters.Its a more complex topic but I noticed that a lot of times ,newbies don't have any support at all and that takes a lot of initiative from firearms community.

From the few people i follow on twitter i have seen a couple dozen since blackface became public knowledge admit on retweets they voted for him and are ashamed for doing so and won't make the same mistake again.

Hopefully this multiplies thousands of times, however i'm sure unfortunately there will be multiple ballot boxes stuffed with illegal votes for the criminal liberals.

If he gets back in by hook or crook the west needs to cut ties with Canada and go it alone, Here in Alberta separation is running close to 50/50 currently, give or take.

People here are well aware of zero property rights in Canada and without firearms there is no other way to fight back to keep it in a land grab.

The turd or any other fool that comes along will never get our guns and if he thinks he is,

I'm afraid this statement holds much merit here in Ontario, after all we gave the McGuinty/Wynne insanity a 15 year run. I still gave the CPC 200 bucks, not much but when your living off a NCM and ccp pension but its the best I can do. I encourage all members to give what they can to the CPC if possible.

Libs had a long run in ON., strictly because there was no viable option to vote for. I'm sure many feel this way 'bout Scheer.

Sometimes the lesser of two evils just doesn't cut it for many voters.

Well when they field candidates like John Tory and Tim Hudak what can you expect. Unfortunately I know of several staunch conservatives that stayed home on voting day. I agree with you but hope your wrong, the Turd must go.

I don't think I can hold my nose tight enough to keep out the stench when I'm at the ballet box. Maybe I'll stay home for the first election of my life.
