I bet it's over 250lbs. Big or not, I don't want to be withing a 2km of a wounded GrizzIt's a grizz but it's not a huge one. I wonder where he placed his shot?

The record BC griz for years had been shot with a .30-30. Back in my younger days I once shot a 280 lb black bear with a .220 Swift and it did a more than acceptable job. One shot under the ear jellified the entire skull. not my 1st choice but it's all about placement...

looking at the scope the guy used, I would say it was a close encounter
Lol scope thats a holographic sight there an EOtech to be exact. As for the arguement about the particular round used. A 5.56 to the skull will kill most animals excluding some from Africa. Also if you use good bullets in the 223 you can take plenty of game with it. And if you don't get a good shot you always have 4 or 9 more depending on the mag left for followup shots.

The guy has balls if he shot that bear with 5.56mm. The guys has massive gigantic balls for trusting an XCR with his life.

You mean to tell me you don't need a 20mm to kill a bear?![]()
