This is exciting news for M14 lovers

Most web sites in the US has them back ordered at the price of $198.99, another is $240.00, still back ordered, MSRP is always at $300.00.

Found a better description on one site on the stock.

"Precision stock for Springfield M1A./ Drop in Fit, no gunsmithing. Constructed of a proprietary carbon fiber reinforced polymer aluminum replacement material. Features include light weight durable construction for use in harsh environments, and adjustable recoil pad allows finited changes to length of pull, a cheek riser is click adjustable to raise or lower in .05 increments. It comes equipped with standard sling swivels, a grip storage compartment and a hand guard picatinney rail and extended rail cover."

If you watch that youtube video on Youtube, underneath in one of the comments, the company rep states:

"And all this at a price mere mortals can actually afford. We will be offering the stock molded in black, desert tan, and OD green. Our stocks are proudly made in U.S.A."

I want one in OD myself. I'll leave it to the dealer to state whether or not he'll have all the colours available or not.

Thanks.

Hopefully someone will take detail pics to show what sounds like an aluminium receiver bedblock and skeleton with fiber reinforced plastic polymer shell. Maybe an xray would be even cooler to see.

I fondled one of these assembled on a Springfield Armory, Inc. M1A at the 2011 SHOT Show. I also spoke with one of the ProMag Industries representatives at length. At the time, they were only offering the M1A Archangel stock in black color though they seemed open to tan or flat dark earth later on. For the money, I think it's a good value. It's not California legal but that won't matter in Canada.

Well if Mystic gets colors in I am not sure which to get now. I have so many black guns I am thinking a Tan addition would be nice. Hmmmm maybe some tan accents on my black guns would be due too.....OMG I can feel the money flying out of my wallet as I type to Mystic and Blaxsun!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!

I will also order so i can check out the difference between the lower priced Archangle stock and my JAE-100 G2 stock. But i want OD to match the JAE :)

If someone in Canada had the stock this post would be dead adn there would be reviews loving or hating it already. This post grows daily because noone has them yet in canada. ALso if you are waiting for a review to decide to buy you probably will not get one till next year now, getting ont he list early is the key, then if reviews are not good just let the dealer know you are no longer interested.

My needs, budget, and the capabilities of myself and the lightly modified M-305 don't justify a JAE; but if this functions as well as similarly priced stocks it will be on my list. The adjustable LOP and cheek piece, along with a pistolish grip (my preference), an M14 doctor shorty package, and an arms18 would take my rifle as far as my needs and budget will allow. Someone find one to try and review it please.

Not too worried about getting one. My Boyds and USGI fiberglass suit my current needs nicely. If these new stocks turn out to be good I may look into one at some point. It will be interesting when the reviews start.

love the stock but hate those videos, would have had to change mags like 4x more then what he did.

What I hate more than hi-cap mag envy is the fact that the video does not give you a close up view of the product. It was pretty much a function test for his rifle. I want to see some stress tests (does it twist, bend or warp if left in the sun) I fear very cheap plastic...I just don't want a Toy R Us stock showing up in the mail.
