The only reason I didn't buy the Stg.44 that came out recently was because it was in .22. A Sturmgewehr in real calibre? I will be on that like white on rice -- most likely for the x39 version.
the 39 version is pretty much the way to go. 7.92xkurz is so similar to 7.62x39, and given the quantity of x39 available, it's definetley the way to go. However, if you are a purist, it's cool that they do offer it in 7.92xkurz.
