This is probably hopeless....but I'll ask anyway:

For years people have been buying them...and most of them have Ishy screws. Meaning, they came off used Indian guns. Not exactly value enhancing.
Good, non Ishy screwed ones are rare as hell.

I recently bought a couple from Numrich. Ok it's not in Canada but... it's available! A bit expensive with export fees, but good, semi-inletted base for a refurb project.

Semi inletted? Are these newly made, never installed?

One of the problems I have with Numrich is you get what you get...you don't get to talk to the order picker and have to take whatever. It might be new, it might be junk, it might even be the wrong part.

But still, at least they ship here.

Numrich is presently $25 for International export fee and it will be $35 in the New Year from the lady I talked to last week.........Harold

Anyone know of a Canadian source for a No 1 Mk III forend? I've got the handguards and all the metal bits....
I happen to have one in my junk box that I don't need. It has the large head on the bolt and the the piling swivel lug is solid. If you are interested, send me a PM.

As far as Numrich goes their service is good. They refunded the purchase price $12.95 less exchange ????? for a part I needed for my 22/410. Unfortunately the S and H was withheld. I got sent the wrong part so pretty much out approx. $33. They have a dedicated person for international shipping and I talked to her on the phone. Very co-operative, if you could deal with her directly to make sure you get the right thing before they ship it, that would be the way to go.
