This is why Bear hunters should carry a pistol

I dont know man, where that bear was in the tree, 7 rounds from a .45 might have had the bear doing the Nestea plunge to the ground.
 
My buddy had one climb up the wooden ladder of his built stand last year when we startled it at his deer apples, and he had to keep stepping on its paws to chase him down....It was funny as hell to watch..
 
Am I the only one who probably would not have just sat still? No where to go but I probably would have swang something at it.

Don't most of you bow hunters at least bring a shotgun when hunting bear?
 
I did a complex analysis on the video, ran some algorithms and come to the following 2 possible outcomes:

Handgun = Clean underwear
No Handgun = Dirty underwear, very dirty underwear

Conclusion: I'd take the handgun! Oh, forgot, can't do that in Canada!!

I'm a bit surprised the little bear (at the beginning) wasn't killed by the larger bruin.

That is one of the more interesting video clips I have seen. Yes bear are surprisingly very fast, even while going straight up climbing trees. The interaction's between bears was enlightning as well. Thanks for posting that piece.
