This item actually work?

If you go to Bell and Carleson's site, you will find a stock design with a tuning adjustment built into the fore end. Cost more than $20 bucks though!

Saw one the old man designed about 45 years ago.
It had to be adjusted each time a lot # of ammo was changed.
