So I was surfing the internet this evening, minding my own business and right out of the blue my mind was blown.

MauserTactical3.jpg

Now I've got a Mauser action that I've been dying to do something with, now that I've sold my motorcycle I have some cash to play with... I wonder where I could get one of these! And I bet there are a few of ya'll out there that do too. If anyone knows any custom stock makers I'd be more than happy to hear about'em!

BobFortier on this very forum would be my first inclination.

Not sure where Osler is but there is a shop out my way that does some real nice stuff, but more into fancy wood and hunting stocks from what I have seen,

Well I'm gonna have to give BobFortier a shout. There's a certain tactical loving Englishmen who frequents the shop who absolutely -hates- wood stocks, where I on the other hand love them. I think this would definitely get his attention! Show him wood can be just as cool as plastic, also I love it.

... I was until I clicked that. Damn you Mlehtovaara, I just bought a new computer and now the rest of my money is going to BobFortier. Why did you do that? Why did you just HAVE to do that? Now I need a laminated stock set for my No.1 Mk4 Enfield, and for my Mauser action.

I did some research, turns out that's a German sniper rifle, caliber 338 Lapua, called an SP66. It's amazing, and I want mine to look that way... Or like an Accuracy International rifle except instead of and plastic I want laminated grey black. I'm thinking 6.5 Creedmore, but I dunno. It's such a big action, I could cram such a big bullet into it.
