I started bowhunting last year and I am finding it a blast but this guy is driving me nuts. I go in the morning he comes in the evening and so on. On tuesday my buddy and I thought we had him. We work together from two stands to cover most angles over our bait. He he was 30 yards from me screened by a brush and 8 yards from my buddies stand but he would not turn broadside and the angle was too steep. We don't like to take risky shots so my friend did not try to spine him.
He is no monster but we don't really chase big horns and given a chance at a nice young buck like this we seldom pass it up as the meat is awesome.
I hope he doesn't know that muzzle loader season starts in two weeks.
By the way the time stamp is wrong on the trail cam. This pic came from this morning and of course I was in the stand this evening. AAARRRGGGG !
