This looks fun

Up until recently (maybe today) the status of the hi-point carbine has been under review. It has now been deemed to not be a bullpup stock and is therefore not prohibited. It is now listed in the FRT as restricted.

We have received a lot of requests for this gun. Now that it is possible in Canada we will import some. As with all imports, it'll take some time but it'll get done eventually.

HiPoint, lets see Kodiak outpost bring these in
They say it's going to come in .45 acp too

I see a few unrailed square inches there. What happened?

As with all hi-points you can say what you will about the looks, but it is a good thing for Canadians to have the option of an economical firearm that works well. How many other pistol caliber semi-auto carbines are out there for well under $400 new? That's right, none.

I think KO has nailed it. I personally don't care it the thing looks like it came out of a scrapyard. If this gun gets at least one person into the ranks of us restricted owners, and more importantly, leads them to collecting black rifles, then it is a small victory for all of us.

You can keep your pot metal Hi Point (Handgun or Carbine) at any price,I wouldn't accept one as a gift.

I'll agree with that. Everybody starts somewhere. My first handgun purchase was based on it's low price point, I loved it lots before I moved on to something better.
