depends how you determine "serious problem." Almost all of the 'guns' stolen from CSC were antiques that didnt shoot. So I would say we just have an ambitious burglar problem. But thats just about every city in the world.

Guess it depends on how you define serious eh. Is there even 1 gun store here that hasn't been robbed yet? Oh & let's not forget the scandal a few years ago, where the cops were illegally selling guns. - taken for amnesty and sold on the street after. That's right, on the street. Short term memory sucks eh
Who in Calgary sells/installs it?
Apparently you have to apply the film all the way to the edge of the glass under the frame for maximum effect.
So its not a simple retro fit. Im sure applying it to the edge of the frame is better than nothing.
Industial Paint and Plastic has a simular product.

I watched a video where these guys applied it on a window just to the frame and when they smashed it, it held together.....and just fell out of the frame onto the ground in one large square sheet of smashed glass. Looked like retro fitting wasn't so great for keeping people out?
