Got this in an e-mail forward today, seemed a little off...

By the length of his beard and the grey legs, I figure he must be over 10 years old.

He looks to be well over 8 feet at the top of the shoulder hump,

and with his head up the height to the top of his antler must be about 12 feet.

This guy is king of the forest, no bear or pack of wolves would dare come after him when he has this rack......

Considering that a dirt road can fit 1 1/2 cars across ... this fellow is HUGE ...THIS IS ONE BIG BOY!

THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN NEAR ELLIOT LAKE , ONTARIO , CANADA

Yes it is a regular size dirt road.

I say fake... or a replica..

The legs are in the same position for both pictures almost exactly... and the beard is blowing the same way even though its changed positions...

Interesting though...

Nah, looks real to me. Just a big boy, small road. The beard actually is moved, and thats the way they walk. You're going to catch the legs in that pose, the opposite, or in-between. The position of the hip is totaly changed because of un-even ground in the first, even ground in the second. Look close.

Funny how it "flies" and how little shadow this monster makes... see the light spots are exactly in the same place even if the beast is there... It's a fake, and it's an old Internet story.

I'd say it's a close up of the moose, photoshopped to a picture that was taken quite a ways further back. It actually looks like days gone by when the school teacher had the farm scene display board, and she sticks an over sized felt cutout of a cow, that looks 3 times the size of it's surroundings....
But definitely photoshopped.

Looks real to me. Bet that road is the width of a vehicle. Bet a pickup would take up that whole road. Look at the size of the trees vs the grass and shrubs.

that's just a big moose.

I don't see any signs of photoshop, and bear in mind, when ever you compress an image, there will be pixilation along hard edges.

My vote is REAL.
