This Photoshopped?

What is it about the picture that makes people think it's photoshopped?

FOrget the shadows, how the legs are positioned, etc.

Why would someone bother photoshopping a nice sized (but by no means a huge monster) moose onto a small trail? If that was an actual Forest Service Road, and the moose was that size in relation to the FSR, I'd say photoshop, but it's just not that remarkable a moose.

This ones bigger & it's not chopped.

I think it's the moose relative to the background that nakes some people think it's shop'd. The trees aren't big trees. The path isn't a big path.
If you fail to recognize that, then it looks like a monster...like godzilla walking through the city...

As GAtehouse said,... it's not even a huge huge moose...but big indeed...
why bother photoshop it..

wow i cant believe my eyes.i was looking for the "shadows" and boom out off the bush a Sasquatch ran past the moose and slapped him in the A$$:onCrack:

Yup! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen the picture with my own two eyes folks, but there he was.

I don't see why anyone would bother to photoshop these two pics either. Seems like a large moose on an ATV trail. Big woopie. Moose look like monsters up close. I had two females walk up to me an my young son one evening to about ten paces and they looked huge! We were on a trail and dropped down when we heard them coming. The wind was blowing really hard sideways and they couldn't smell nor see us. What a rush that was!

People forget how big and tall moose really are. They look way smaller once shot and laying there... and then they grow in size as you pack them out!!!;)

the first pic is done reletivly well. the second pic is done really poorly. the image just looks wrong, other than a lack of a shadow entirely, the legs dont match the brightness of the road and stand out way to much.

Here are some quotes that were said by guys on this site about the wolf pic..which we all know now to be real...

This came up on the Alaskan trappers website and was pretty muched laughed at.

These are seasoned trappers who have caught wolves (some of them for 50 years)......... I will go with them and say BS.

Plus if he shot it, why is there a snare around its neck?

It's faked...

if you look closely in Photoshop, you will notice that the edges of the wolf to the background (left side) is very dithered, but the right side of the hunter is fairly crisp..

the image of the wolf is not the same left of dithering as the hunter.. it looks like it's been overlayed/modified

Here are two examples (plus a part of the image that they forgot to tough up (by the hunters head)

If my dog was that big I'm pretty sure she would train me to retrieve the ducks.

Someone had a giggle making that pic.

No shadow from the guys legs. Hmmm.

Something in that image looks wonky. Why does the grass go brown behind the dude, but not at the edges?

There are clearly two pictures made into one. The moose is definitely real, it just doesn't belong in that picture.
Remember the Green Mile? A big guy made to look bigger.

I say if you think they're photoshop'd ...you haven't done much moose hunting...

No doubt! When I was 16 I bumped LITERALLY nose to nose with a Bull Moose in the brush! I ran one way he ran the other way! The are big animals and you don't realize exactly how big until you see them up close!
