That is a lot of birds, very nice. I cannot wait for opening morning, I took the last week of April off work to travel back to Waterloo and hunt. I got my first last year the day before my 21st birthday, a jake at 21 yards more exciting than my first deer in December.

Nice buddy, looks like a good year for sure...
Im looking forward to getting out this year, and knocking off a few birds. There are birds and sign everywhere, and birds where there were none last year. I've got a buddy with a place on scugog island that has birds on it now. they moved in on his fields about a month ago. I hope they stick around, there were quite a bunch of em...

Fella's , the Osceola is a much quieter bird. They tend to gobble a little on the roost then flydown and quiet up. Calls and gobbling are very much softer in volume as well and at times could be missed for them darn egrets. When working these birds you have to be keen with your eye sight as they like to come in silent. Most believe that preditors may be some of the problems of the quietness these birds are used to. The woods is thick with Palmetto patches and danger seems to be around every corner for them. Very much different from the Eastern cousins.

Meanea , Chappy's is about 30 minutes from Clewiston. They are based in Lakeport...BT

Did it ever dawn on you that Turkeys have wings and can fly?
Canned hunt for turkeys.... your killing me.:p

BigRed Consider yourself D.O.A, as they offer canned turkey hunts in Quebec. it is to my understanding that they clip thier wings as to not let them fly away.

After a second look at this thread I have come to the conclusion that our friend Adrian J hare is most likely a guide, and the pictures a result of several hunts. At first glance i thought they were from a single hunting expedition, thus a canned hunt came to mind. I stand corrected;)
